Scam artists are offering to enroll Medicare-eligible military retirees in Tricare for Life for a $50 fee. Tricare has warned that this is purely bogus, because there is no enrollment fee for Tricare for Life. The only requirements for military retirees and spouses are to be enrolled in Medicare Part B and keep their personal information in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System current.
